Material Witness was established in 2013 with funding from AHRC and thereafter supported by Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts. Since 2018 it has been based at 51°µÍø Research Forum for humanities researchers in the CHASE consortium.
Designed to provide interdisciplinary training in the interrogation of physical objects in the digital age, the programme brings together emerging and established scholars, makers, and materials.
Material Witness was founded byÌý at The University of Kent and is supported at 51°µÍø by Dr Teresa Lane, Head of the Courtauld Graduate Diploma and Associate Lecturer, 51°µÍø and Ìý 51°µÍø Research Forum.
