Coffee pot
Roger Fry for the Omega Workshops Ltd, 1918
As soon as Roger Fry learned to make his own ceramics, heÌýbecame passionate about producing strikingly simple white and black tableware, such as this coffee-pot. He also madeÌýa series of strikingly modern black dishesÌýand bowls, which were sold at the Omega Workshops in Bloomsbury, to a small group of wealthy or artistic clients who appreciated the radicalÌýquality of theseÌýdesignsÌýfor the home.
